Your Arsenal

Items are where most of your power comes from. Every piece of gear carries magical attributes that trigger in combat — bonus damage, healing, shields, poisons, and far stranger things. Loot drops as you climb, duplicates combine into stronger versions, and a sharp eye on the market can gear you up faster than luck alone. This guide covers how to get items, what to do with them, and how they grow.

Getting Items

Tower Loot

Clearing a floor rolls loot for every member of the party. Deeper floors drop rarer items, and the first time you personally clear a floor your loot chance is boosted — every new floor is worth beating at least once.

The Casino

Feeling lucky? Spend gold to spin for a random item of a chosen rarity. Rarer pools unlock as your Peak floor rises, and every spin pays out something — the question is what.

Trading & the Market

Buy and sell items on the player market, negotiate direct trades, or send gear straight to your partymates. The piece your build is missing is probably sitting in someone else's inventory.

Heirlooms

The Renown Shop can grant soulbound heirloom items at the start of a round — usable from floor one no matter their rarity, but untradeable while bound. Clear the floor that rarity normally requires and the item unbinds into a regular item.

Rarity, Tiers & Attributes

Every item drops in one of five rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. Higher rarities carry stronger versions of an item's attributes — the same sword tells a very different story in Legendary orange. Rarer items also demand more of you: equipping Uncommon gear requires reaching floor 20, Rare floor 40, Epic floor 60, and Legendary floor 80 — heirlooms excepted.

On top of rarity, every item has a Tier, shown as the T-badge on its icon. Tiers climb from T1 up to T10, and each tier strengthens the item's attributes. Rarity sets what an item can do; tier turns the dial up.

Hover any item to read its attributes: green numbers help you, red ones are the price you pay, and percentages are trigger chances. Attributes marked with a cyan (+N) grow with every tier — those are the ones worth forging high.

Equipping — 3 Items + 1 Spell

You can wear three regular items at a time, and no two can be the same item — variety is forced, so build combinations. Equipped gear applies its attributes automatically in combat: the green and red numbers you see next to your stats come from what you're wearing.

Alongside them you may equip one Spell — the purple-marked items. A Spell isn't passive: it's an ability you cast in battle on a cooldown, and a well-timed cast can swing an entire fight. Choosing which single Spell to bring is one of the biggest decisions in your build.

The Forge — Combining Duplicates

Two identical items — same item, same rarity, same tier — can be combined into one item a tier higher. Two T1 Common swords become one T2; two T2s become a T3, and so on toward T10. Duplicates are never junk: they're fuel. One click on the Combine page merges everything in your inventory that can pair up, chaining upward as far as your duplicates reach.

If one of the pair is equipped, the equipped copy is the one that gets upgraded — your loadout never skips a beat. Want to keep a duplicate out of the forge (say, to trade or sell it)? Lock it in your inventory and the combiner will leave it untouched. Items in the party chest, listed on the market, or sitting in a pending trade are automatically safe.

Managing Your Inventory

Party Chest

Parties share a chest: donate items you don't need and withdraw what your teammates left for you. It's the easiest way to funnel the right drop to the right person.

Sending & Selling

Send items directly to partymates, list them on the market for gold, or work out a trade. Heirlooms are the one exception — they can't leave you while still soulbound.

Subscriber Bag

Floor clears sometimes drop a bonus item into a separate bag. An active subscription lets you claim everything in it — the bag keeps filling either way, so nothing is ever lost.

Item Log

Every drop, combine, equip, and claim is recorded in your item log — if you're ever unsure where something went, the log knows.

Gear up, forge high, climb higher.
Your next build starts with your next drop.
